Hole in One

"When you kill a man, you steal a life. You steal his wife's right to a husband, rob his children of a father. When you tell a lie, you steal someone's right to the truth. When you cheat, you steal the right to fairness."

- Baba "The Kite Runner" pg. 18

In the book, The Kite Runner, it teaches many great themes in life: love, honor, guilt, fear, and redemption. The author of the book is Khaled Hosseini. Hosseini's character, Amir, has many diffucult times in his life, including death and triumph. In my connection, it is a text-to-self connection. In the book, it tells how even today, people in Afghanistan are still struggling. And its not just in Afghanistan, its all over the world, but they overcome those obstacles and they feel better from it.
In conclusion, this is a very moving, inspiring book and i highly recommend it.
